To whom it may concern,
The Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) hereby issues a strong disclaimer distancing itself from any group or organisation parading themselves as “Unemployed Youths Initiatives”, “Unemployed Youths Association” or “Unemployed Graduates of Nigeria” with the intention of deceiving unsuspecting individuals and government agencies.
We have come to notice that certain unscrupulous elements have been masquerading as representatives of our organisation, petitioning, soliciting funds, support, and recognition from government agencies, corporate organizations, and well-meaning individuals.
For the avoidance of doubt, we categorically state that these groups are NOT affiliated with, nor are they recognized by, the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN). We do not know them, and they do not represent us in any capacity.
SWUYN is a registered non-profit organization with CAC/IT/85478 and a clear mission, vision, and objectives focused on empowering unemployed youths in Nigeria. We are committed to transparency, accountability, and integrity in all our dealings.
We urge the general public, federal ministries, government agencies, and corporate organizations to be cautious and vigilant when dealing with groups claiming to represent unemployed youths or graduates. Verify their authenticity and legitimacy before engaging with them.
STRUCTURES OF SWUYN
Please note that the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) has the following structures:
- Board of Trustees
- National Executive led by the National President, Comr. Preye V. Tambou
- Regional Executive across the six regions of Nigeria
- State Executive across the thirty-seven states in Nigeria, including FCT Abuja
- Local Government Executive
All these structures use the same logo and branding. Therefore, any communication, document, or representation that does not align with our official logo and branding should be disregarded.
AUTHENTICITY VERIFICATION
To verify the authenticity of any communication or representation claiming to be from SWUYN, please ensure that:
- The letter or document is signed by the National President, Comr. Preye V. Tambou, and the National Secretary, Comr. Adewale Ganiyu.
- The letter or document bears the official logo of SWUYN.
Any communication or representation that does not meet these criteria should be disregarded and considered invalid.
We understand that various groups and individuals may be creating platforms to pursue their agendas. While every group has the right to make demands, we emphasize that nobody should attach or mix up the Society for the Welfare of Unemployed Youths of Nigeria (SWUYN) with any other group or strange individuals.
We are a distinct organization with a clear identity, mission, and objectives. Any attempt to associate us with unauthorized groups or individuals is unacceptable and will be addressed accordingly.
Please note that any transactions, agreements, or commitments entered into with these fake groups are at your own risk, and SWUYN will not be liable for any losses or damages incurred.
