To suggest that a former Governor and a high-ranking Senator of the Federal Republic is personally responsible for the mobilization and construction logistics of the Toru-Ebeni to Bulu-Orua road is an insult to the intelligence of every reasonable Bayelsan.
The allegation suggests that an APC delegation, led by Hon. Tamuno Agu, informed the Kabeama community that Senator Dickson had been “mobilized” to ensure road completion. This narrative falls apart under the slightest scrutiny for several reasons:
Institutional Ignorance: Senators do not execute contracts. They facilitate development through legislative advocacy and the inclusion of projects in the national budget. The execution lies solely with the relevant executive ministries or agencies, such as the NDDC or the Ministry of Works.
The Hallucination of the “Contractor” Label: Attributing the role of a contractor to a man of Senator Dickson’s repute is a hallmark of “mad man’s talk.” It is a desperate attempt to drag a statesman into the mud of local project management, a sphere he has long outgrown through decades of high-level public service.
