Victor Warefa Slams Malicious Liars Linking Tompolo to Kanu Ultimatum.

Comrade Victor Warefa, a prominent political figure in Delta State has strongly condemned what he calls “malicious liars” trying to connect Niger Delta leader, Government Ekpemupolo, widely known as Tompolo, to the recent 21-day ultimatum about the detention of the IPOB leader, Nnamdi Kanu.

Warefa’s strong condemnation came as many rumors and online stories suggest that Tompolo gave an ultimatum to the Federal Government demanding Nnadi Kanu’s freedom.

Warefa spoke out against those spreading the wrong information. He made it clear that the rumors are baseless and that they are only meant to create unnecessary tension and confusion in different parts of the country. He firmly stated that Tompolo is a peace-loving leader whose main focus is on stability and growth in the Niger Delta region. Warefa stressed that Tompolo has always worked to end conflicts and is not involved in giving ultimatums or threats about issues outside his usual work.

He demanded that those spreading the lies should immediately retract their statements and stop trying to involve respected leaders in political fights.

He believes the claims are a planned move by “mischief makers” who are bent on causing problems in the Niger Delta region.

He described the claims as the “handiwork of enemies” who want to discredit Tompolo, likely because of his work against illegal crude oil activities in the Niger Delta.

This kind of distraction, he noted, takes attention away from important national issues. He urged the public to ignore the rumors and stick to reliable news sources.
