The young talented Ijaw musical icon, LIZBERG, is set to drop his “Dance To Night” hit song, patterned after the old musical legend’s, Chief Echo Toikumo of blessed memory.
When speaking to newsmen in Warri about what gave him the inspiration, LIZBERG spoke musically saying: “In a serendipitous moment of nostalgia and discovery, I stumbled upon Chief Echo Toikumo’s timeless melody “Dance Tonight”, a tune that resonated with my soul since childhood. The rhythmic beats and soulful lyrics of his song instantly transported me back to cherished memories, igniting a spark of creativity within me”.
“As I embarked on the journey to pay homage to Echo Toikumo’s musical legacy, I knew that seeking permission was paramount. With the legal aid of my Solicitor, W. J. Obiri, Esq, I reached out to Echo Toikumo’s children and sought their consent to make an adaptation of his music into my own creative expression. Their gracious approval earned me the rights to create this art and I must state unequivocally that the respect and admiration I hold for Late Chief Echo Toikumo and his family cannot be put into measure”. He said.
“Once again I am set to captivate fans with my latest track titled “Enjoy,” scheduled for release on the 1st of October”.
In this upcoming song, this young talented musician masterfully sampled the timeless melodies of Echo Toikumo’s classic “Dance Tonight,” infusing it with his unique style and energy. This fusion of musical influences promises a fresh and vibrant listening experience for fans old and new.
