The public is cordially invited to the grand reception celebrating the achievements of five distinguished professors from Odimodi community. The event will take place on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at Odimodi Town, in Burutu Local Government Area of Delta State, beginning at 10am.
This special occasion aims to recognize the exceptional contributions of these educators to academia and society. Hosted by Odimodi Community, the reception will bring together students, colleagues, and community members to honor the professors’ dedication to teaching, research, and mentorship.
The event will feature keynote speeches, highlighting the honorees’ accomplishments. The professors being celebrated are leaders in their fields, and their work has left a lasting impact both locally and beyond. Their achievements reflect the community’s values of excellence, education, and service.

Chief Dr. Julius Takeme, the Miracle Chairman of Burutu LGA is billed to be the chairman of the occasion, Madam Beauty Warezuwowei, former Legislative Aide to the Deputy Senate President, is Chairlady. The father of the day is Professor Benjamin Ogele Okaba, President of Ijaw National Congress INC, while the Royal Father of the Day, is HRM. Pere Bosu Dio JP., Ayamabulou-1, the Ibenanawei of Iduwini Kingdom, Delta State.
