Bomadi LGA, Delta State – The funeral service for Pa Oyadonghan Thomas Ekpedebor will take place on Friday, January 30, 2026, in Bomadi, Delta State. The procession will begin at 10:30 A.M. as his body leaves the Bomadi General Hospital Mortuary for his home on NDDC Road. A funeral service, led by the Jehovah’s Witnesses, will be held at his residence near the Expandable Kingdom Hall to comfort his family , friends and all those that will be in attendance.
Pa Ekpedebor passed away on January 6, 2026, at the remarkable age of 94. He was a highly respected figure in Bomadi community, serving as the Amakosu-Owei of Bomadi. Beyond his traditional title, he was known for his deep commitment to his faith as a dedicated Jehovah’s Witness, living a life guided by the hope of resurrection.
Born in 1932, Pa Ekpedebor Oyadonghan lived through nearly a century of history. He was a pillar of strength for the Pelekorogha Bowei and Oyadonghan Zikeye families. His legacy continues through his large and loving family, which includes: 8 children, 27 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
He will be remembered by many for his wisdom, his leadership in the Bomadi community, and his devotion to his family and his faith.
