In a grand ceremony held at the Palace, the highest traditional seat of Arogbo-Ijaw Ibe (Kingdom), His Imperial Majesty, Pere (Barr.) Zacchaeus Doubra Egbunu Esq., (JP, FCAI, LL.M), Opukutu III, at Ese-Odo local government Area, Ondo State officially crowned Chief Aregbe Onana as the first Amadiwei of Agadagba Ama on Thursday July 24th, 2025. The coronation, which drew a significant crowd, was conducted with all traditional rites duly observed.
According to His Imperial Majesty, this epochal development was in response to the consistent demand from the people of Agadagba Ama for traditional representation and administrative convenience. As the Amadiwei of Agadagba Ama, Chief Aregbe Onana will serve as the Eye of His Imperial Majesty in the area and the recognised traditional head of the community.
The ceremony concluded with royal prayers and blessings, marking a new chapterY in the history of Agadagba Ama.
